I've been trading for over 8 years — starting in forex before making the move to futures three years ago. Like most futures traders, I went through the prop firm grind — Apex, TopstepX, Lucid Trading, Take Profit Trader, MyFundedFutures — learning what it actually takes to pass evaluations consistently and stay funded.

The honest answer to why I kept struggling wasn't strategy. It was inconsistency. I'd have great weeks and then blow it. I knew what I was supposed to do — I just couldn't see the patterns in my own behavior clearly enough to fix them.

So I started building a journal for myself. Something that would actually analyze my trades and tell me what was going wrong — not just show me stats I already knew. Something built specifically for futures and prop firm traders, not adapted from a stock trading tool.

When I realized it was genuinely helping my own trading I decided to share it.

I've spent 20+ years in IT which gave me the technical foundation to build MTE properly — real infrastructure, real security, real AI integration. But at my core I'm a trader who built a tool for traders. Every feature in MyTradersEdge exists because I needed it myself.
